The founder behind KART
Dr. Safrine is an independent researcher with a PhD in English literature from Stella Maris College, Chennai.
She has published across academic journals, an edited volume and literary magazines, reviewed articles for scholarly journals, and worked as an editor. Alongside her research, she trains students, researchers and professionals in academic writing, communication, personality development and wellbeing. She knows exactly what makes a paper get read — because she has sat on the editorial side of the desk.
What we do

Participant voices
From the Life-Writing workshop, 7–11 September 2026.
It is the best session I have attended on life writing.
All the sessions are mind blowing.
Thank you for a wonderful workshop. I learned a lot about life-writing and really enjoyed every session — thank you for your time, effort, and for sharing your knowledge so clearly over these five days.
A wonderful session. Expecting a lot to update in my research — would like to join the upcoming sessions.
Thank you for the workshop. It really helped me a lot.
Most useful: the idea of paratext. What I’d add: a separate Q&A session.
